its healthy properties and the way we farm.
Company profile
Venico is a company comprised of leading deer farmers from across
the UK. The aim of this farmer controlled business is to provide
a market for their quality assured farmed venison. Farmed venison
is available all year round.
All our farms are independently inspected by EFSIS to ensure that
standards of production and animal welfare are strictly adhered
to.
Venison is one of the world’s healthiest foods; farmed venison
is more consistent, less “gamey”, leaner and more moist than its
wild counterpart. Venison provides higher levels of protein than
beef, lamb, pork and chicken, with lower levels of fat and cholesterol;
it also provides a good source of vitamins B12 and B6, both of
which are good for a healthy heart. If you are not a big fan of
oily fish then venison provides an alternative source of omega
oils, along with the immunity boosting zinc and selenium.
The product
Our
British Retail Consortium approved processing site is situated
in South Yorkshire. From here we can despatch by courier service
all over the UK. All our product is sent out fresh, in vacuum
packed portions and is delivered to your door in an insulated
container and packed in ice, to ensure the product reaches you
in optimum condition.

For the sausage lover we have our all new Venison
Sausage Selection Box. From the plain venison and pork
sausage through our exciting range of gourmet sausages, great
for the summer barbecue, a winter supper with mash and a rich
gravy, or a super casserole.
Finally our crowning glory is the Venison
Gourmet Box with a haunch joint for a superb roast, a
pack of Diced venison for those hearty winter casseroles, fillet
the monarch of steak (cook this hot and fast and leave it rest
in a warm place) and some tasty venison liver.
